We have established collaborations with prestigious national-level institutes such as the National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources (NBPGR), the Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (IIHR) in Bangalore, and the Indian Institute of Vegetable Research (IIVR) in Varanasi. These collaborations enable us to produce superior-quality seed materials for various stakeholders.

At ENSPL, our focus on Research & Development lies in the field of vegetables and Corn. The collection, maintenance, and characterization of germplasm are of paramount importance to us. We have a strong germplasm backup to ensure the success of our breeding programs. To facilitate our Research & Development work, ENSPL has established multiple Research Centres throughout India

Our Central Research Station is Located at Waladgaon (Maharashtra), India & Regional Research Stations are at Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh), Hapur (Uttar Pradesh), Bangalore (Karnataka), and Surat (Gujarat). These stations are strategically placed in different agro-climatic zones to cater to specific research needs. To support our Research endeavors, we have a team of specialized and qualified plant breeders and field assistants who work consistently on breeding activities.

In our R&D efforts, we prioritize crop improvement, and crop management, through plant breeding and our efforts are sustainable and environment friendly. We are committed to driving sustainable production and crop management practices to provide safe, healthy, and nutritious food through world-class genetics and innovative breeding technologies. Our Research process is driven by a deep understanding and consideration of farmer priorities. Our primary focus is on developing varieties and hybrids that exhibit superior quality, high yields, and resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses.

Over the years, we have successfully commercialized a range of vegetable and Corn varieties and hybrids. Some of the crops we have worked on include Cucurbits, Melon, Gourd, Chilli, Brinjal (eggplant), Tomato, Beans, Okra, Onion, Spinach, Radish, Carrot, and Maize.
